A labourer was killed at a building site in Liminka, just outside Oulu, on Monday morning.
The man, who was born in 1973, was transporting sacks of sand in his vehicle when another cargo vehicle, with a large trailer, crashed into him. The trailer quickly crushed the driver of the other vehicle and he died of his injuries almost immediately.
Police are investigating whether any breach in health and safety laws may have led to the accident.
