Oulu Snow World Begins Saturday
‘Lumimaailma’ will be launched in Oulu’s Market Square next Saturday, beginning a three week long series of events dedicated to winter sports and hobbies.
Lumimaailma will include the ‘Tracks in the Snow’ Art Path, which will involve Oulu artists’ works being displayed in the old wooden store houses by the market square and also in the Lumimaailma’s own specially constructed gallery.
On the same day, there will begin a Reindeer Carnival in the market square. This is part of the annual Poro Feria but this year the reindeer carnival will also be taken to Nallikari and to the Pudasjärvi downhill skiing centre Syöte.
