Police Free Rape Suspect Print E-mail

Oulu police have freed the suspect in recent city centre rape case claiming that there is no longer any reason to hold him. The 24 year-old man turned himself into police and was arrested by three days in custody he was let go.

The man gave himself up because he fitted the description given in the newspapers but he denies having had sex with the victim.

Police are continuing their enquiries.
