Body Found in Oulu River Print E-mail

Police found the body of a man in the Oulujoki river, around Oulu, on Moday, the Kaleva has reported. The corpse was dredged up where the river runs through Ainolanpuisto, infront of Laaserentinsaari island.

    

The police and fire service was called to the area on Monday evening and the body was lifted out of the water at around 7pm. Police have announced that foul play is not suspected.

Police have not been able to determine how long his body had been in the water. But they have managed to identify him. He was born in 1976, though furthervdetails have not been released.
