Oulu criminal court jailed a nineteen year-old man on Wednesday who is the police's prime suspect to have carried out a violent, knife-point robbery on a Rajakylä Pizzeria on 26th June.

The police asked for the robber to be imprisoned pending his prosecution. The robber allegedly robbed the Pizzeria on Tervakukkatie with a 'sharp weapon' and managed to get away with a small amount of money.

The assistant working in the Pizzeria wouldn't hand over the cash at first and wrestled with the robber leaving him with a bloody wound on his arm from the robber's knife.

Under interrogation, the young man admitted to the robbery. The police managed to track him down through clues provided by the public.
