ImageMembers of AIESEC, the student commerce association, are organising a seminar entitled "Business Goes Asia" so that local businesses and students can hear how Oulu technologies should go global – starting with the Asian market.

Companies and future employees are expected to attend the event at Kirkkotorin Koulutuskeskus on February 15, at 14.00, where they can sample Asian food, scope out employment prospects, and learn–for example–how Finnish software is developed in Asia.

Speakers will include a vice-CEO of a global company and a member of the Oulu chamber of commerce.

AIESEC has representatives in 100 countries, and describes itself as 'the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential.' 'Business goes Asia' is part of 'Horizon,' a project to provide 'valuable knowledge and experience in global understanding and success.'

Assisting in Horizon are the city of Oulu, Oulu Chamber of commerce, PKC Group Oyj and CubiCasa Oy.

Great Event
I have been to the event.
It was very well organized and very easy to talk to people from companies.
I liked it and it should be repeated soon!
