A 29-year-old German man was imprisoned on Tuesday, to await trial for fraud.
The German man, a former Finland resident, had been selling an assortment of electrical goods on the internet including Playstation games and digital cameras. He netted more than 10,000 euros, selling his wares through sites such as Huuto.net. He made the sales between October 2007 and March 2009.
The Finnish buyers purchased the goods by transferring money into a German bank account. When the goods failed to arrive, 85 different customers complained to the police. The man fled the country but was tracked down to Oulu and arrested on Saturday.
His trial will take place in May. He has already admitted his guilt, claiming he deeply regrets what he's done.
