Some Oulu school-kids took warming the seat a bit too far on Tuesday when they set fire to one of the school toilets.

The incident took place at Oulu’s Terva-Toppila Secondary School where, according to fire-fighter Mikko Laitila, a bathroom towel rack and plastic bins had been set on fire.

A member of staff was putting the Christmas tree up when she detected smoke and raised the alarm. The entire school had to be evacuated.

The fire brigade were called in and soon found flammable material on the toilet floor, indicating that the fire was deliberate arson.

The toilets were guttered though the rest of the school was unharmed and nobody was injured in the blaze.
