A 22 year-old man has been badly stabbed in the Oulu area of Kuivasjärvi, according to police reports.

The victim was stabbed in a house in the Oulu suburb late on Tuesday night, receiving a severe wound from the attack. According to Oulu police, there were five other people in the house, a fight broke-out and it culminated in the young man being stabbed.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Oulu hospital where his condition is not thought to be in any way life threatening. Police are already questioning a 20 year-old suspect from Oulu.
