This weekend, Oulu is hosting the heftiest biannual role and board game playing event ever organised in Finland. Enthusiasts from Oulu, Rovianiemi, Kemi, Kajaani and as far away as Helsinki arrived last night at Kaijonharju’s youth centre close to the University of Oulu for Maracon.

Remember the 1984 cult movie Karate Kid, where master Kesuke Miyagi taught young American apprentice Daniel Larusso the secrets of the fine art of karate? Seems that directors Oxide Pang Chun and Danny Pang were inspired by the classic when making their new action movie Bangkok Dangerous.
