Expats to host weekend seminar on how to set up a company and maximize its profits.

The Oulu International Business Forum is to run a workshop this Saturday entitled ‘Boosting Your Business in Oulu’. Run in English, but aimed at Finnish entrepreneurs as well as expats, the day-long seminar will offer a series of talks on different aspects of successfully running a business.

The talks include ‘Professional Business Presentations’ by Spanish communication expert Victor Arroyo Valle and ‘Networking your way to success’ by 65DN editor Ata Bos as well as presentations on how to finance small businesses and market online.

In addition, the seminar offers presentations about particular companies and free consulting workshops. Many of the companies offering free consultations have been featured in the 65DN business section. They include the Indian Cuisine restaurant, the ‘Wash and Go’ carwash, Opal Blue business consultancy and Resonate Electric Vehicles, which is offering a free test ride of its electric scooters.

According to Artem Daniliants, originally from Turkmenistan and one of the organisers of the event, ‘The seminar will offer practical advice on some of the most important aspects when it comes to running a successful business: networking, presenting your product or service and marketing.’

‘Boosting Your Business in Oulu’ takes place on 19^th June at the Koulutuskeskus on Asemakatu 5 between 10am and 4pm. Participation is free.
